National Leadership Coach to Address Nonprofit Teams

DNA Creative Communications (DNA), in partnership with Community Foundation of Greenville, United Way of Greenville County and Hollingsworth Funds, announces that 20-year organizational leadership veteran Patrick Jinks will present “Leading with an Exceptional Team.”  This event, part of DNA’s annual Shine the Light Nonprofit Forums, will take place on Nov. 17, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Kroc Community Center, located at 424 Westfield Street in Greenville.

Patrick Jinks, president of the Jinks Perspective Group, is a certified leadership coach, professional speaker, facilitator, planner and trainer with 20 years of experience in organizational leadership. He helps nonprofits across the country develop their teams through strategic direction setting and coaching executives and other leaders to elevate their leadership influence. Patrick is past president of the Blue Ridge Institute, a national network of nonprofit and community service executives. He served on the National Professional Council for United Way Worldwide, and chaired a national task force that developed a standardized business performance metric system for the entire United Way network. He is also VP of Talent Development and Chief Strategy Officer for the United Way Association of South Carolina.

This workshop will include a keynote address by Patrick as well as interactive roundtable discussions. Attendees will explore strategies for attracting, motivating and retaining talent within organizations and frameworks for effectively engaging employees.
